Chefit (chefit.org) is a workout tracking and coach–client management platform operated by a legal entity registered in the Republic of Armenia (“Chefit”, “we”); full company details are available on request at [email protected]. By creating an account or using Chefit you enter into a binding agreement with us on these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use Chefit on behalf of a business, such as a gym, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. These Terms are written in English; translations are provided for convenience and the English version prevails if they differ.
One person, one account. Keep your password secret and tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use; you are responsible for activity under your account until you do. Provide accurate information and keep it current. The email address is fixed at registration and can only be changed through support. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or fraud, or in breach of these Terms.
Chefit is a tool, not a coaching service. Trainers on Chefit are independent: they are not our employees or agents, and we are not a party to the relationship between a trainer and a client. Trainers are solely responsible for the programs, advice and sessions they provide, for holding any qualification or insurance their local law requires, and for the accuracy of their profile, including uploaded certificates, which we display as provided and do not independently verify. Session credits (“balance”) tracked in Chefit are a record kept between the trainer and the client; Chefit does not process payments between them and is not responsible for their arrangements. If you are a trainer, treat the client data you see in Chefit as confidential and use it only to coach that client.
Exercise carries a risk of injury. Chefit does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing in Chefit, including programs created by trainers, replaces advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Consult a doctor before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or an injury. Stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You use Chefit and follow any program at your own risk.
Chefit is free to use. Optional paid plans (Trainee Premium, Trainer Pro, Search Boost) are sold either by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC, whose terms also apply to the purchase, or through Telegram Stars under Telegram’s terms. The price, taxes and billing period are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription (for Telegram Stars, in Telegram’s subscription settings); cancellation stops future charges and your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We may change prices with at least 14 days’ notice by email or in-app; a new price applies from your next renewal. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or withdrawal rights that the law of your country grants and does not allow to be waived.
You keep ownership of everything you create in Chefit: workouts, templates, measurements, notes, programs, profile text and media. So that we can run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and transmit your content, limited to operating and improving Chefit. Content you choose to make public (a public trainer profile, a catalog listing) is visible to anyone and may appear in search engines until you make it private. Content you share with a trainer or client is visible to them as described in the Privacy Policy. Reviews of trainers may be written only by clients who actually trained with that trainer, must be honest and based on their own experience, and must not be paid for; we may remove reviews that break these rules, are abusive or contain personal data of third parties, but we never remove a review because of its rating. You can export or delete your data at any time in Settings → Data & account.
Do not use Chefit to: break any law or the rights of others; harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone; impersonate a person or misrepresent your qualifications; upload malware or content that is sexually explicit, violent or infringing; send spam or unsolicited commercial messages; scrape, crawl or bulk-export data that is not yours; probe, overload or interfere with the service, bypass limits or access other accounts; or resell access to Chefit. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
The Chefit software, design, exercise library, trademarks and everything we created belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Chefit under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of Chefit except where the law allows. Feedback you send us may be used without any obligation to you.
Chefit hosts user-generated content — training programs, exercise notes, profile media. If you believe content here infringes your copyright, email a notice to [email protected] with: the work you own, the URL of the allegedly infringing content, your contact details, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised, and your signature (physical or electronic).
We review notices promptly, remove infringing content and notify the uploader. Repeat infringers lose account access. If your content was removed in error, send a counter-notice to the same address — we restore content within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant pursues legal action. We follow DMCA-style takedown procedures voluntarily for rights holders worldwide.
How we collect and use personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: we collect what is needed to run the service, we do not sell your data, and you can export or delete it yourself in Settings.
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Data & account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue Chefit; where reasonably possible we will notify you by email first and give you the chance to export your data. Termination does not affect payments already due and does not entitle you to a refund except as stated in the Refund Policy. The sections on your content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, your responsibility for claims and governing law survive termination.
Chefit is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of exercise data or uninterrupted availability. We may change, add or remove features and may take the service offline for maintenance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, injuries or health outcomes resulting from training, or for the acts and omissions of trainers, clients or other users. Our total liability for all claims arising out of Chefit in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period or, if you paid nothing, to 50 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or rights that consumer law grants you and does not allow to be waived.
If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you posted, coaching you provided or received, or your breach of these Terms or the law, you will compensate us for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs, to the extent your local law allows such an obligation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and the courts of Yerevan, Armenia have jurisdiction over disputes, except that if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, write to [email protected]: we aim to resolve most issues within 14 days. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
We may update these Terms. For material changes we give at least 14 days’ notice by email or in-app before they take effect; the “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. If you do not agree, stop using Chefit and delete your account before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Chefit after that date means you accept the new Terms.
If a part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Chefit. You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a successor of the business with notice to you. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
